The Maria Theresa Chandelier inspiration originated centuries ago from the beautiful crystal chandeliers inside the palaces in France that the Archduchess of Austria fell in love with. She had them reproduced for her palaces in Italy. Although these chandeliers appear to have a frame of glass, this chandelier’s frame is actually made of solid brass that is plated with 24 K Gold, and then lacquered and baked to protect it. The glass is then built around the metal. The frame is also available in silver/chrome finish. The crystal is 30% Full Lead crystal that is machine cut and polished to give the maximum sparkle and shine for your home. Strass Spectra and Strass Swarovski 30% Full Lead crystal dressing is also available.
